My yoga journey began while traveling around Asia. What I once thought was just another form of exercise or stretching, became a practice that completely transformed my entire life from the inside out. Growing up I was shy and anxious, disconnected from myself and trying to find my place in the world around me. Yoga taught me to slow down, be present, and realise that everything I desired was already within. It gave me clarity, self-love, and contentment, changing my life in ways I never imagined.
Before yoga, I struggled with body dysmorphia, disordered eating and anxiety. I was under eating, over exercising and overwhelmed. Yoga initially served as a recovery tool, but soon I felt not just physical improvements but a profound internal transformation. My mindset shifted from fear and judgment to love and acceptance, both for myself and the world around me. Yoga has empowered me to live with presence and self-acceptance, and I aim to inspire the same in my students.
After completing a masters degree in fashion buying, I landed a dream job in the buying office of a top UK luxury retailer. However, after a while I started to feel the toll of the high-pressure corporate world on mental and physical health. When the pandemic brought the world to a standstill I decided to take the leap of faith and turn my passion for yoga into my career.
After 5 years of self practice I traveled to Bali for two months to complete my 200hrs YTT, a year later I flew to Thailand to complete my 300hrs advanced YTT. As a teacher my intention is to share with you the practices that have helped me so much on my own journey, in the hope that it will inspire and help you on yours.
